How do I order a product?

To order a product, you must first select a product item from one of the product categories. (e.g. Awards Medals, Charms and Keychains, Medallions, Pins, etc.) Once selected, you will need to configure all the options associated with that product item. Each option available will be displayed to you one at a time. After completing the process of configuring all options, a product item confirmation page will be displayed to you. Please review and edit it if necessary. When the item is configured to your liking, place it into your shopping cart. You can continue to shop for other items or you can proceed to the checkout area.

When you are finished shopping, click the proceed to checkout button located on the Shopping Cart page, then you will need to select a secure or non-secure server, and fill out the billing and shipping information on the On-line Order Form. Following that, you will have one last chance to review both your billing and shipping info as well as the items in the shopping cart. When you click on the submit button from the Final Confirmation page, your order will be submitted to Bale. You will then receive a order confirmation number from this site, and a letter of confirmation will be sent to you.

I tried to click on one of the graphics in the Current Option Indicator expecting to be linked back to the previous option page. Why doesn't this work?

Because of complexity of the option configuration process, you will not be able to use the graphics in the Current Option Indicator column to navigate through the site. The Current Option Indicator column is designed to give you a greater understanding of how many steps you will need to complete an order and which of those steps you are currently viewing.

The option configuration process seems really complicated. Why do I have to go through all of those steps?

It is very important that you complete the options in the order that they are displayed in the Option Indicator column. Simply clicking on the CONTINUE button at the bottom of each option page when you are ready to move to the next option. Because certain options are not available in combination with other options, it is necessary to complete each option one step at a time. In this way we insure that your order will be configured correctly.

If I put an item into my shopping cart, then leave the site will my item still be in the shopping cart when I return?

If you have not completed an order or "checked-out", and you exit the Bale site, your order may be lost and if so you will need to re-create your order when you return to the site.

Why are "cookies" used on this site?

The Bale Company uses a feature of your Internet browser called a "cookie" to assign a unique identification to your computer. Cookies are the files that your web browser places on your computer's hard drive. The Bale Company creates and then uses these cookie files to track the option available to you as you go through the Bale Company website. The Bale Company only use cookies to keep track of items you put in your shopping cart, and tell us whether you have visited the Bale Company previously. The Bale Company does not use cookies to retrieve any personal information.

Do I need to have JavaScript or any other scripting languages enabled in order to use this site?

The Bale site does not use client-side scripting languages like JavaScript, so you don't need to have any scripting languages enabled in your browser's preferences.

I need to send information to Bale, what is the Fax number?

If you are a part of a non-profit organization, you will need to both fill in your correct tax-exemption number on On-line Order Form and you will need to fax a copy of your tax exemption certificate to Bale. If you are interested in paying for your Bale products with a Purchase Order, you will also need to fax us a copy of the Purchase Order document. For both tax-exemption certificates and Purchase Order documentation, please fax us at 401-831-5500.

I need to talk to a customer service representative, when should I call?

Should you have any questions regarding our products, please call the Bale Company at 1-800-822-5350. Customer service representatives are available to answer your calls from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

How are Jewelry and Non-Jewelry items shipped?

If your order contains both Jewelry items and Non-Jewelry items, the two types of products will be shipped to you from two separate Bale Company locations. Should you have any questions regarding our the shipment of your products, please call the Bale Company at 1-800-822-5350.

How do I order a set of products containing the same item in multiple different metal finishes?

If you wish to purchase the same product item in multiple metal finishes, you will need to both select and configure the product item multiple times. For each metal finish you wish to purchase you will need to complete the entire product option configuration process, from title selection all the way through to placing the item into your shopping cart.
